I couldn't find any images of ganesh that I liked so I made my own. Thinking about using this for my next tattoo.

Any comments or suggestions before I ink myself?

Awesome. I have to ask, do you read the online Digger comic by Ursula Vernon? If you don't, you should! And if you DO get your tattoo, you should send her a photograph of it. You'll see why once you start reading [link] It's free and it's drawing to a close after a several year run and it's an excellent story to boot. :-)

Great looking tattoo design, by the way!

Wow.
I had never seen digger but I've made it to chapter three. how long does it go on? it's a great story. thanks for pointing me to it.

It's currently 816 pages long-- I just checked. No idea about how many chapters there are as there's not really a chapter archive. You can buy Digger comics too (I purchased mine on Amazon.com, since they have good prices usually). I thought you would like Ganesh. The artwork gets tons better too . . . . the artist also has her own DevArt page as well if you're interested: [link]

very cool, love the linework thick/thin...just make sure your tat artist is good at the linework! is the elephants left front foot holding it's tail? if that's the case...should there be hair at the end? or did you omit for design. Either way...it'll be pretty sick. enjoy.

no, I can't find any images/research that says his foot is supposed to be holding a tail...I don't really know much about the Ganesh...so I wiki'd it.....the one thing I did realize is that it's supposed to be a Asian elephant vice a African Elephant. (Key feature difference is the size of the Ears, asian elephants have much smaller ears than African. But it's art....and as artists...we do as we please!!! I like your ears better, it aids the balance of the composition. post a pic when it's done, I'd like to check it out. Good Luck.
